- I am a twenty-three years old. This was the first year I seriously committed to competing in MAO pageants, and my last year of eligibility! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to hold a local title before I age out.
- I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2013. I have a B.A. in Liberal Arts (the only undergrad degree that Sarah Lawrence confers), but my focus of study was Public Health.
- I am a Study Supervisor in the field of reproductive genetics. I work on studies both locally and internationally. I love my job!
- During my time as an undergrad, I had the opportunity to intern for Lancome USA and mark. (Avon) in the world of beauty and fashion. I made great friends, had the chance to work in NYC, and finally learned to use makeup correctly!
- I live with my parents in Yonkers, NY. My father is retired, and my mom is a former police officer turned preschool teacher. We have a crazy pet cockatiel named Bully. He only weighs a few ounces, but has the biggest personality in the family!
- My younger sister, Shannon, is probably my favorite person in the world! She is 20 and goes to college right outside of Lexington, Kentucky. I love to spend time there with her. The first time I visited her at school, I met Miss Kentucky at Miss Priss, a local gown shop!
- My boyfriend, Tom, lives around the corner from me. We have a Golden Labrador puppy named Duke who lives with Tom and his family. Duke is the sweetest dog that you will ever meet--I promise.
- I was Miss Westchester 2012, and loved having the opportunity to serve my county and connect with some fabulous local organizations like Operation PROM and the Westchester Children's Association.
- Last fall, I appeared on an episode of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire alongside Cedric the Entertainer. I won $100,000, which I promptly used to pay off my student loan debt.
- I was the valedictorian of my high school class at age 16. I am glad to have graduated early, because it gave me the time to explore different schools (I transferred twice) and even take a break from college for a semester without falling far behind.
- I danced for almost 10 years when I was younger before stopping in middle school to focus on figure skating. I missed dance, but had the chance to skate the US National Synchronized Figure Skating Championships in Huntsville, Alabama and visit space camp.
- I won an all expenses paid trip to Rio de Janeiro in 2010 with the support of my family and friends at mark. My mom and I got to spend nearly a week exploring the beautiful city, and I'd love to go back.
- I am a master of finding deals on expensive items. Almost all of my pageant wardrobe has been found on eBay for incredible prices.
- I love fitness and wellness. I try to live by Lorna Jane's principles of moving at least once per day, nourishing my body with health foods, and believing that I can do anything I put my mind to. I recently launched my own fitness blog, Sweatsational.
